if that's the car I think it is then it's a rollcentre rear hoop from tower view who had the sole fitting rights back in the day. dave from tower view now works closely with steve heath so could get in touch that way. a nice alternative would be the sportmotive rear hoop which is nicely made.

It looks like one I saw once by Roll Centre, sits a bit further back, side bars in from the edge. Couldn't be sure.

When Tim Lane did mine he basically said he'd do any custom design I wanted for not much more than a pre-designed unit.

Not sure if its be mention but roll bars can be bloody noisy, had one in both my Chimaera's and took them both out, something to do with being attached to the chassis, even tried filling one up with expanding foam and it still droned. maybe a rubber pad between the bar and chassis may do it

Also can be something to hit your head on if you are not properly restrained with a harness.

Have you notice how mobile the back of your set is especially when several stone of driver is catapulted foward and rebounds backwards? There is little doubt in my mind that if involved in an accident the rollover bar located where it is without the driver being etrictly restrained will likely result in severe head injuries.

Gotta admit, I haven't noticed any increase in noise with mine.

It looks like a Tower View model.I have one in my car but to be honest design has moved on since i bought mine 6 years ago.I would prefer the one "Haircutmike" has in his chim as it has the diagional brace.A must in my opinion for extra safety at no real cost in weight.I also aggree that if you have a low back seat fitted it would be best to improve the padding.Having said that i have T350 seats in my car which have built in head/Helmet protection.I have had no issues with mine been noisey.
