I've been using fuelly.com to track my fuel costs. It turns out I've just reached a year using it for our main car (nothing exciting - a nissan note), which apart from the interesting fuel facts, means I can actually see how many miles I've really covered.

It's just 3500 miles in our main car!! eek We use it every day - shopping / kid to nursery etc but I'm surprised at how low it is. It just shows 99% of our journeys must be local. (Done a few hundred on my scooter as well to be fair).

Usually between 35,000 and 50,000, it is hard to tell as it will be spaced across maybe 100 cars through the year.

We get through about 10k miles between our two cars. The amount on each depends on the weather.

Try to use my cars in equal measure, but usually end up in the RR in poor weather (which seems to be most of the time)
-Corrado 3000 miles approx
-BMW E36 Vert 3000

You must have a hell of a commute?

Mine's around the 22k mark - again it's spread across a few cars so hard to find an accurate figure.

I reckon it must be about 15,000 miles this year split between two cars.. pretty incredible given that I live 2 miles from work, but it soon adds up when you go to car shows on weekends and (as in my case) do a road trip to Germany and the highlands of Scotland!

6,000 miles for me. Work is fairly local so I don't havea horrendous commute to worry about.

I do about 15,000 miles a year. Work is 100 miles a week. Visiting the folks is a 300 mile round trip. Don't know where the rest comes from!

20k per year for me. 13k of that is the commute with other work miles thrown in. Personal miles (trips to teh shops, friends, diving) makes up the rest.

Its not a number that I'm happy with. Contenplating cycling a couple of days a week in the summer to cut down my fuel costs.

God knows how I'll cope if diesel hits £2 pl frown

20k+ between the cars, not enough in the TVR though, so little I'm going to reduce the limited mileage that I already thought was low!

My commute is about 60-70 miles a day. Some longer drives delivering Porsches across Europe and in my spare time I'm a landscape photographer and think nothing of 1000 miles in a day to get a shot.

Clio runabout - less that 1000 miles a year.

Mountain bike - 1500-ish miles of commuting.

E Class - 5,000 a year in the UK plus annual 2,000 in France
