Mondeo '03 - changing the Stereo

Hi guys,

First post so hello!

I recently bought an '03 Mondeo (first registered March 03) (2.0ltr Ghia TDCi) and would like to change the stereo to one I can plug my iPhone 4 into and play MP3's. I would also like to if at all possible keep as much of the steering wheel controls for the stereo as possible.

I'm after some advice basically - is it possible to do this and keep the controls? - what sort of stereo do I need to go for? etc.

I'm looking at spending about £150 max on the stereo and a bit extra for any other bits and pieces needed so would gratefully accept any advice or suggestions as to what to get.

Plus one of these - http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_... - this is just an example, so buy the relevant one for whatever stereo you go for. That one will fit an Alpine unit, if you buy a Pioneer unit you'll need this http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_... for example.
