Dark Blue S spotted on the A2070 Hamstreet bypass (Sussex) heading away from the town of Rye towards Ashford direction at 11:25am.

I didn't flash because I was in my VW (I had two passengers), otherwise we'd have been twins! T'was a lovely day for blasting along with the roof down.

I didn't get the reg as you were going at a fair old speed!

Was that you Pies heading back towards Canterbury?

Hi Colin,

I wonder who that could have been then??

I guess there are more S's around than we realise.

I was excited as I'm a virgin S spotter (never seen one on the road before other than mine).

There was a red S3 up for sale at a local garage in Margate for £7k but I've never seen any owned/driven cars.

There was also one for sale at one of the garages near Sturry last year. It was dark blue metallic S3 I think and he wanted about £5k for it. My mate (and neighbour) was interested but it sold fairly quickly at that price.

Had I not already been driving my own, I'd have probably bought the one at Sturry. It was a good car for the money, just needed a tidy up and the chassis painting. It had a huge folder of bills with it too.

Hi Tim,

Your car was looking good and going at a good pace up that bypass!

We'll have to arrange a get together sometime, perhaps with Pies and I know that Wildfire also comes our way at times.

Anyone else in the Canterbury (Kent) area?
