Happy St George's Day
Discussion
I know it isn't exactly a car topic but as drivers/owners of a particularly fine range of English cars shouldn't we be celebrating St George's Day? So much is made of the patron saints of other nations - indeed, more is made of St Patrick's Day by the English than of our own St George's Day!
Anyhow - I reckon that's a good enough reason to take the AM out 'for a spin' or, at the very least, as Rob & I have done, get in stock a small but interesting range of fine English Ales with which to settle down and enjoy the evening.
Cheers!

At least St. Patrick got rid of the snakes from Ireland or whatever.
St George was of middle-Eastern descent, never set foot over here and was utterly unconnected to England. Not sure how we got lumbered with him, his claim to fame is being tortured and then decapitated for refusing to pay tribute to Roman gods as he was a good (though presumably not bright) Christian.
We have little in common I find
Closest thing to a saints day for me is Le Mans weekend. Happy to pay tribute to St. Dunlop-Bridge.

I'd rather people celebrated the patron saint of England's day instead of Ireland's though!
