Passenger seat req for Chatsworth Saturday drive out.

is there anyone on here who would be kind enough to offer a ride in their TVR on the drive out at Chatsworth this saturday for a fellow TVR owner who is flying over from Australia for this years event?

Cinquecento, Lindsay will be staying at the manor house in Dronfield, he was going on the drive out with Hoover in his griff, however Hoover has had to cancel due to a broken toe, ( a flimsy excuse I know)

so if there is anyone who would like to offer Lindsay a ride please come forward, I know he wouldn`t feel right trying to follow in his hire car, and it would be nice to help out a fellow enthusiast.

It't aint exactly floppy .... but hurts a lot....... dropped a butchers block on the other one, and stubbed this on toilet door after a few to many beers after going to the dogs on friday night ... took the Griff out Sunday and didn't make it the end of the road before turning round

There's usually quite a few people with a spare seat so I'm sure we'll get him a ride one way or anouther.

When people in the past put up their pride and joy for sale and state that due to family commitments, newly born baby etc,etc I need to sell my car as I don't use it anymore, I always assumed that they were dis-honest and trying to cover up something wrong with the car.

Well I apologise to all who have been in that position, as I find myself getting use to fatherhood, trying to be a good partner and also trying to run 3 businesse's, keep up with the other halfs maintenance on horses etc, fit my football in. Well do I need to spell it out that I have not seen the Sag in over six moths and have not driven it other that a recent MOT visit. So the reason I may not be able to make it is due to some of the above and depends on what the weather is doing. Plus the Sag is know kept 40 odd miles away in a secure garage and I have to make prior arrangements to collect car then arrangements to lock it back up, then drive from secret hide out 40 miles odd back to the Essex manor..........................................what a mission.

The very fact that I still own it, is a miracle!

The good news is that we have a very beautiful little girl and she is No.1 for me. I am still hoping to make it all being well. Sorry for the long winded answer but you did ask.

So she can have horses, which as we know, do not fit in well with some TVR owners! And you get to sell up? Tell you what it will be years before you drive anything decent if you give up now. They only made 170? Sags You can buy a horse anytime/anywhere.

I'll second that. Graham was kind enough to give me a passenger ride at Cadwell - spectacular car driven in a "spirited manner"

I'll also be there - passenger seat in Cerbera if that's more your bag??
