Would you buy a second hand supercharger?

Jackson racing but has been used with larger pulleys so will have been spinning at some right speed.

Are they themselves fairly tough or would it be likely to be damaged?

Wouldn't bother me, if you can get the owner to spin it by hand and video it, as long as it spins smoothly there won't be an issue with it.

Servicing the thing is pretty easy too.

Sevicing Kits available on Ebay I think, if not UK, then definitely USA.
