Body shop info please

Gents, seem to remember a thread on here regarding one of the well known bodyshops who are prepared to 'manage' a claim. Perhaps manage is too strong a word, but, IIRC, comments in the thread advised that the bodyshop folk take the debate with the insurance company and from a knowledge/experience standpoint usually avoid a write-off scenario.

Thought I'd ask, as one of the Hants TVRCC guys has posted that he has been rear-ended by a truck type vehicle. To add to his difficulties, he's about 4/6 weeks post heart by-pass op' (so must be just starting driving), and had some upsetting personal news on the same day.

And - he's booked for the Le Mans Classic in July...so would like to have the Chimaera on the road by that time.

Can anyone advise re: the bodyshop? Perhaps give some contacts?

I am in the middle of the exact same situation, my T350 was hit up the rear on good Friday. She's currently with Adrian at Central TVR and he's done a great job so far sorting out the engineers etc. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago where you can see the damage (sure you'll find it if you trawl my posts) which really doesn't look much at all. In actual fact the impact has stress fractured the grp so badly a new rear end is required - work just agreed at circa 12k.....

Thanks for the rapid reply, Tony.

I think I posted on your thread....basically, saying the same thing - that I recalled a thread advising that the bodyshop was dealing with the insurers! Just can't recall if it was Central or not.

One thing that did stick in my mind was that the loan car was a Fezza!

The 360 is out at present, though I believe they do have a Chim available as well as a few other cars
Adrian has been most helpful and has given me a lot of confidence in the work they'll be doing. My car was collected from Cambs by them so I doubt they'll have any problems picking up from Hants.
