Misting shock

MOT says I have a misting rear Shock that should be replaced before the next MOT. Can I replace just the rear pair or do I have to replace all 4 to ensure they match.

As you can tell I'm not mechanically inclined but just looking to control costs as I drive my TVR for the sound not necessarily the speed

Replacing the pair on the same axle will be ok. Although if one has gone, the others may be close so perhaps just swap them all for the cost of it?
