I don't think he said Sanchez was backing in. He said Sanchez checked his run and he (Terry) ran into him. Which is implying that they were both moving in the same direction but Sanchez then stopped or slowed rapidly.
It's clearly a lie either way though.

Yeah mate he was backing into me and as I had to put all my weight on my back leg, my other leg uncontrollably kneed him in the arse, honest.
