Has anyone replaced their carpets recently, or at very least their floormats? I'm thinking doing the rear shelf and the floormats but my carpets are light blue so will need to be colour matched.

Anyone had any good experiences with suppliers recently?

I've done a bit of research on this recently and heard good things about D & C Trim. They're ex TVR guys, based at the old factory in Blackpool. You can contact Dave on 07772 856695. They were also the cheapest of the 3 places I called for quotes from. Where in the country are you?

Down south, near Reading.

D&C are on my list to contact but hoping to see any alternatives out there so I can get some different quotes. The immediate need is for the floormats so i'm thinking somewhere that can supply the fabric and I drop off my old ones as a template, although I guess any upholsterer can do that?

I had some mats made up by D&C and had them delivered for £78. Really impressed with the quality, and at least with ex-TVR guys, you know you're going to get proper OEM look mats. Can't see why you'd go with anyone else. smile

+1 - I spoke with Dave last year - He's very helpful and passionate about TVR which you won't find from a generic supplier.

I ordered and installed this set from Lakewell:

Very good quality. International shipping. Needs some cutting away in places but overall easy to fit.

Have a chat with Adrian at Central TVR. They do the trimming as well. In fact, they are going to replace my floor mats in due course. So will let you know the quote when I find out.

Right, i'll have a chat with D&C as around £80 posted for some mats sounds ok to me.

I'm spending the day tomorrow sorting the car so weather permitting i'll shampoo the carpets as i'm hoping they will scrub up ok and it's just the mats that need replacing.

Youre a braver man than I, shampooing TVR carpets. The dye comes off in my hand when I touch the carpet to check for water ingress. hehe

I left the rear window off during a little sprinkling of rain. The kitchen towel I used to dab it dry turned dark blue pretty quickly!

That's a very good price. I bought some cheap £30 ones to sit on top of the originals to protect them a bit. Wish I hadn't now!
