Dragon 88 Editions

Unveiled at the Beijing Motorshow to celebrate the year of the dragon. Apparently done by the Q by Aston Martin people who created that monstrosity of a Virage Volante for Geneva. Available on the V8VS, DBS Volante and Virage. Includes touches such as 24-carat gold badges, embroidered headrests, special interior trim, commemorative sill plates and a choice of three unique exterior colours.

I have to say, apart from the interior and bling badges, I rather like the DBS Volante. Reminds me of Amethyst Red.

Yep, can't fault them for doing it. Only the same as Lamborghini with their Singapore Edition LP550-2.

For the Chinese market; red is very symbolic. And the number 88 very lucky.

That makes a lot of sense. It would look fantastic with a cream truffle interior

Yes, on a serious note the DBS does actually look very nice. The way Aston paint finishes have such depth are what makes it for me.

That should mean there's a heap of room in the back of a DB9 let alone a Rapide
