Keep up at the back... this happened in Feb.Many years ago I contacted Blackpool because I wanted to mount a ski rack on the roof of my Chimaera. I got put through to the bloke who, apparently, designed the roof.
He was a little surprised at the suggestion but then said 'no'. I said, why not? He said, because it won't stand the force of the wind on the skis. I laughed and said 'rubbish - I've been to scrap yards where there are two cars piled on top of a third'.
He insisted, eventually, that if I rolled the car, the roof could not hold the weight of the car and it would collapse, kiilling me.
Now I know he wasn't joking.
Sad to see one die, of course.
Even if it is a Griffith...
