Clutch Supply

My 4.2 is about to have the engine out to have an oil seal replaced. I am thinking of having the clutch replaced at the same time, as the car has done 29k. The dealer tells me clutches are on "back order". Can anyone tell me what the real position is.( don't want the car of the road for another x weeks).

last i heard was a 2 week waiting list. mines been off 4 weeks
