Taking the speaker out of my door and looking inside I see a thick rubber sheet which appears to be stuck to the inside of the door card. I assume that it is there to stop the water getting to the motor and speaker. Thing is trying to feel along to the panel bolts it is stopping me being able to reach the rear 2 as it feels like the rubber is stuck to the door card. Is this what others have found ?.
Any one got any pics of the inside of the door and the back of the door card.

The rubber sheet should only be riveted to the door along its top edge, the rest hangs free and therefore can be lifted up out of the way. In normal use the two sides and the bottom are tucked inside the opening in the door.
There should also be a sheet of polythene cut to the same shape as the door card but slightly smaller, tacked around its outer edge with non-setting spray adhesive, and fitted to the face of the door. This keeps moisture off the back of the door card.
Hope this helps.
