Anyone bought a Cayman R recently?

I'm only looking for a Cayman S but I can't seem to keep away from looking at the adverts for Peridot Cayman Rs. It might be my imagination but they do seem to be hanging around without selling at the moment and if anything the OPCs seem to be putting their prices up! So, has anyone actually bought one of these cars and did you manage to negotiate a decent discount? Just curious...

I went down a similar journey, went out to buy a nice Cayman S and bought a GT silver Cayman R. The reason, they were similar money, and I wanted a high spec, and on the car in stock it had everything, (total at list £66K) I got around £3,000 off and paid £50K with 6,000 miles. Not sure if it helps, but I have had a few cars, and this is far and away my favourite, I got out of a new AM V8 into it, and was thrilled. Its funny I met a really nice guy on a train journey (also from York) and he did the same but into a Spyder. If you have any questions please PM me. Happy hunting.

I know a dealer who wants to sell theres cheap, nice spec also

circa 42k low miles and in that green, which looks great in real life.

Not many cars to choose from a rare car atm.

That's almost tempting! Once they dip below 40k... well, who knows
