Anybody used 'the green insurance co' for breakdown cover

Came as cheapest on confused.com for Euro breakdown cover, but never heard of them. Any good?
Just bought a Lotus so might actually have to make use of them one day.

From my brief experience with them for car insurance, I would avoid like the plague. Appear cheap at first but charges, service and attitude very poor, IMO.

I used them for breakdown cover for a while. Not only were they were very cheap, but the one time I had to use the service it was very efficient.

I only left them because dealer is offering cheap servicing with free breakdown cover included.

Do they have their own personel or do they use AA or whoever?

Oops, sorry, missed your question.

It wasn't an AA/RAC van that turned up, it was an independent, but I honestly can't remember who it was.

I think they use local garages the same as Green Flag (and most of the other companies) do.
