I keep getting an error code 413 saying 'entity is too big" despite reducing the size of the pictures. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?
Thanks

Got any more info? What software are you using to reduce the size of the photos? Where are you trying to upload them to that gives you this error?

I am on a mac. I know nothing about making them smaller so I am just cropping them and trying to post them in the Merc forum.

Sounds complicated hehe Can't you upload them to flickr (free for a basic account), then link to them from there?

The pic has to be under 2mb, and the formats allowed. On a mac, to resize, just open the pic, (preview will be fine), and go to tools>resize

Then fettle using the parameters until the size is what you want. The file size is at the bottom of the window.

Thank you - have managed to open picture in preview and got tools but resize is not highlighted so cannot click on it. Any ideas?

I've never come across that. Do you have permission to edit the photo or something of that ilk? What format is the pic?

Import/view the photos in iPhoto? Then go to File, Export, and change size to max width of 750px?

Will they be making it possible to add multiple images in the future?
