OK... I've done a search but not turned up anything, so I thought I'd ask. 
On my 4.2 Cerb, I recon I've got the Friction Diff and I just want to check that it is working properly. So, unlike a more conventional diff, is the friction diff effectively locked but just allows a little bit of slip when needed?
The reason I ask is that I've got the car up on a hoist at the moment, starting the job of getting the body off for the new outriggers, refurb, etc... While up there, I was rotating the rear wheels and mildly surprised to find that the wheel on the other side of the axle was rotating in the same direction. I tried turning them in opposite directions but couldn't...
Is this what you'd expect with the friction diff?
