Puncture miles away from home! Help please?!!!

Have discovered I have a screw in my rear tyre of my Chim - right next to where the tyre turns up the side wall so unlikely to be repairable.

I do have a can of tyre weld, so..............do I pull the screw out, put in the tyre weld and hope it seals?

Or do I try and find a garage/tyre place first thing tomorrow morning that will have a Toyo tyre in stock and that can fit it for me tomorrow morning too?

I'm currently 225 miles away from home up in Bradwell, Derbyshire for the whole Chatsworth weekend experience so don't know where I can find a tyre tomorrow morning local to where I am at the mo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably best to leave the screw in place until you get to a tyre place. You might find it holds until you get home.

Thanks guys for your help so far.

Chesterfield from here is about 15 miles or so. I shall call them first thing tomorrow morning and hope to make the Calton Lees car park for 11-00 complete with new tyre!!!

Bob, thanks so much for your very generous offer. The screw is sticking out right on the edge of the tread/side wall corner so am pretty sure it can't be repaired - only replaced.

Am currently thinking along the lines of going to the place S6 ROR has suggested in/near Chesterfield as they are Toyo stockists and should hopefully be able to fit me a new tyre IF needed!

As long as they have a tyre to match mine (size-wise etc.) I shall ask them to pull the screw out and see if it leaks!!!! If it does then a new tyre it will be. If not, then I've had a stroke of luck - I'm not holding my breath though!!!!!

If they don't have a tyre to match mine then I'll leave the screw in I guess and hope I get back to Suffolk on Sunday all okay!!! I will have tyre weld on hand so that should at least get me home!

Edit - Meant to say i can bring a low entry jack, cracker bar and axle stand so we can just take the tyre if necessary
