Mk1 2004 3.6l - Passenger window goes down but 'Clunks/Judders' each time at a different position before continuing all the way down - sounds bad when it happens.

Faulty motor on it's way out? Grease or WD40 required? Any comments??

First response from me would be to take door card off and lubricate 'worm-drive track' and silicone spray the window guides. Take the opportunity to WD-40 the little pcb and connector on the window lift motor too.

....In fact make sure all the connectors in the door cavity are opened and contact cleaner sprayed.

Juddering, as you describe can only be down to lubrication/lack of use or (unlikely) slight mis-alignment.

As Nick says, but also check that the clamps that hold the glass are secure.

^^Didn't think of that! Would cause the glass to'wobble' in the guides and encourage a judder.
