The rubber seal around the top of the windscreen on my Griff has detached itself. Anyone know what's best for sticking it back?

Clear silicone sealant from any DIY place should do it. Have a bottle of spirit and rag close by to clean off any residue. Clamp it & let it dry for x hours.

Forget silicon sealant - not sticky enough.

Ideally use Sikaflex. As an alternative, I went to a chandlers and bought they stuff they use to stick down/seal wooden decking. Fairly cheap and easier to apply than Sikaflex - just need a selant gun.

Small tube of silicone sealant (from an aeromedel shop) worked excellently on mine. The fine tip was useful for keeping the job mess free.

Tube of glue was about 50p.

Labour cost about 20 mins.

Yes, you are right. I just checked it. The fastastic seal I made all those months ago is still perfect but it would have been much better if I had used the properly prescribed stuff.
