Should I have one???

My handbook says that I should have a tripmeter on the speedometer but I don't appear to have one (a tripmeter that is)! Only have a total mileage readout. Comments please!!

Sorry for the petty questions but since I bought my first TVR last weekend it hasn't stopped pi**ing down so I have had to resort to reading the handbook!

Know the feeling got mine march 30, manged to get out twice since. With regards to the trip display, my '99' 450 only has an LCD total mileage display in the LH, speedometer instrument.

Cheers mate - thats the same as mine - 00 400 - must be a later model thing.

And its STILL raining and the forecast for tomorrow is even worse!!!

Not sure I've got a 2001 facelift . That has one.

That's interesting - perhaps TVR had 2 different batches of speedometers??

Aha - if you press the black button at the bottom of the speedometer hey presto the total mileage switches to trip mode - and the sun is shining!!!!!!
