Thumbsnap MIME problem

This appears since a few days again on my home pc (XP, IE8).
If I try to upload a picture my pc wants do download an "embed" file by thumbsnap,
but can not do it because of this MIME problem.
The download of data from this site (Thumbsnap) is blocked for safety reasons,
even though I have listed PH and TS as "trustworthy sites" in my IE browsing safety settings.

I had this last year already but somehow it worked again after some weeks,
could it be "update-related" as I run automatic XP updates ?

Another bump with a more accurate description :
When I open a "reply" window, an extra bar appears on top of the screen which ~says :

The download of data from this site has been blocked for safety reasons.Click here to view options...
When I click the option "download data", a Microsoft window opens up and reads :

I have already listed PH as a "trustworthy site, ran XP updates, ccleaner and regcleaner, still happening.

What can this be and how do I get rid of it ?

Install Chrome or Firefox to avoid the IE Security settings.

OK, I have Firefox on my pc but as IE ix my regular browser with favourites etc. I do hardly use it.
Test now :
