Chandlers Garage, Elstead - Surrey

Dear all,

Just wondering if anyone has used Chandlers Garage in Elstead? any experience good or bad?

Need to book the wife's Ka in for a bit of work, would like to use somewhere reasonable

I worked in Elstead for several years and tried them twice as they were conveniently located. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them.

Depending on where you're based, SPM in Byfleet are excellent (many years of good service) and the little garage in Rowledge is honest (not sure of his company name, only dealt with him a couple of times).

Ah that's a shame, I live in Haslemere and need somewhere local as the car has an alternator fault so is only driveable for short distances.

Not had great luck with local garages.

I have used them once for a simple task which they did wrong. Based on this, keep looking for another garage.

I used to live in Farnham and used a Hawthorns and I always thought they did a good job before moving to Guildford where I now use a VW specialist so not much help.

A work colleague uses Witley station garage every so often. They're a VW indy, but they do other cars. Worth a shot?

Glad you got it sorted but +1 for Lee @ WSG, very helpful and honest (sensible prices too), only problem is he's normally booked solid 7-10 days ahead!
