Throat Cramp

I've had this for a while, very intermittently but for a few years. Normally when I yawn eru rarely but painful when it does happen I get massive cramp in my throat and neck and can barely move till it goes away. Just had it then and my ear is sore now.

I always just thought 'it's nothing, just cramp like you get in your leg'. But it doesn't feel normal. Does anyone else get this?

Yes, I have been getting that for years, not often but every time I do I am on my own & panic like mad for a bit thinking I will choke!
I haven't mentioned it to a doctor & it hasn't killed me so far.....................

I get this sometimes, but only when I yawn and I'm outside when it is cold. Just keep your neck warm in the cold weather. BTW the pain it leaves behind lasts all day with me, and sometimes I can tell where it's been for a day or two.

Yes...get this sometimes as well. Starts right under my lower jaw and moves down. Not pleasant !
