Whilst driving along the M25 this morning the radio just stopped working. I popped the front off and back on...still nothing. Doesn't light up or do anything.

Is it likely to be the fuse? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks,
Jonathan
PS It's a bit off a pisser as my Three Lions song is in the autochanger.

If your autochanger isn't working either then it's most likely to be a fuse, or a dodgy 0v (ground) connection.

How can I tell which fuse it is? The manual doesn't mention it. I know how to get to thee fuses but what's the best way of getting out - I can't seem to get a good enough grip (or am I just too weak?)

Oh 'ere we go again :-)

When you're doing the length of the M11 at a steady 2510rpm, it can get a bit dull without Kylie* to serenade you along.

Is it wired through the instrument fuse? If so, you'd see other guages go down too so it can't be that.

I know mine is (Griff) but the radio also has its own internal fuse...

Oh well, I have been hammered all weekend so I'll see if I can find out the problem today...
