As per the title, I am unfortunately occupied this year on the weekends for both RIAT and Yeovilton Air Day. Is there anything else that competes?

Anything with modern aircraft? flying legends looks err. a little bit historic, charming as those aircraft air I was hoping to see aircraft doing things I didnt think possible (f22 virtually hovering stood on its tail a few years ago was amazing).

Regarding visiting yeovilton, its a great day out, however don't let the family talk you into an early departure. The assault finale is a cracking display. Missed it the first time I went in a mistaken 'beat the traffic rush'.

Farnborough most definitely is - early July.

It's my local show so I'll be there.

Waddington Air Show has a decent amount of modern jets displaying. It's 30th June - 1st July this year.
