Just a quick hello to everyone from a longtime lurker, having eventually just bought my first Aston.

The information gleaned from this forum and Grant's superb book has been invaluable. I am grateful to you all.

I have attached some obligatory photos but they are not very good as they were taken on my iphone. I'll take some more if it ever stops raining up here!

Please be gentle as I know the colour is not quite mainstream!

Welcome Dave,

The colour is not mainstream but a bold choice and I think it looks fantastic, especially with the black wheels!! cool
Very nice!!!

Wow!!!! Fabulous looking car - and that's from the owner of a silver one!!

Can't wait to see some pictures of it with natural light. Congratulations and enjoy.

There have just been some pictures of yellow Vanquish on the AMOC site and I have to admit and Aston Martin is about the only car I can actually stomach in yellow! In fact I even think Astons look good in Yellow. I'll say no more before I put my foot in it or offend!

I love the colour, but really not a fan of the dark wheels with it. What colour is the interior?

The interior is black with yellow contrast stitching which I like very much but like the colour I guess, it is just personal taste.

I first saw a Sunburst car at Donnington about 3 years ago on an Aston driving day and I have been unable to see past it since then! However they are very few and far between - some might say for a reason!!!!!! Anyway I absolutely love the colour although I think that the Aston design is so good that it looks fantastic in all the colours.

Sunburst yellow? Just stunning, absoloutely love it.

I really hope you can make it to one of our meets, would love to see that parked in the sea of misery that the Vantages usually are wink

I did use a smiley!! smile

Quite funny watching our guide at Gaydon picking up a spec sheet and rolling his eyes. Silver, with black leather and the crazy-guy's choice of ultimate wackiness... silver stitching! Those crazy Vantage owners...

Nice to see a genuinely mental looking car. I'd put the green mouth on it like the N24 though wink
