I've just purchased F1 2011 for the 360, how is it?

I enjoyed 2010 but it's few flaws annoyed me, I know there is a big thread on here, but I can't seem to find it. Questions:

1) Have they addressed the timing issue from 2010

2) And the pit bugs (having to wait for everyone to leave the pits)

3) And the saving glitches?

4) What known bugs are there and have they been patched yet?

Thanks smile

Me and my friends who do an online championship all see it as a massive improvement on last year. The handling is a bit more predictable and tyre wear and fuel are more realistic.

very much enjoy this new game, still some annoying features with the AI and penalties for silly things but on the whole a much improved game

It's good, quite difficult at times but stupidly easy at others. Qualy doesn't really matter as 9 times out of 10 you'll be in front after the first 2/3 corners. Pits can still be a bugger though, although I'm only losing about 2 or 3 places a stop rather than 15 in 2010. I really enjoy the game.

Sadly they can't fix the amount of knob heads online who ram and cheat.

I definitely enjoy this more than 2010. Penalties are still a little hit and miss, but doing a long race weekend each time and customising the difficulty makes for a really enjoyable couple of hours of racing.

Timing is a lot better, seems more realistic and option tyres definitely have a more realistic level of wear. I love the game and try to find time each week for at least a full qualifying session. I just need room for a wheel now.

My brother got this game a while ago.

Think of F1GP, but with new teams/rules/tracks and nicer graphics and XBox Live.

Just picked this up for PS3. Like the above posters I'm enjoying so far. May have to wait until F1 2012 until they implement my favourite potential feature though, being able to view AI cars crashing and retiring with a live replay option like Grand Prix Geoff Crammond-style.

I've a feeling though with the way Codies have made the game this won't be possible frown

Really enjoying it, although tried the online key and it said it has been used. Not too fussed however the game was new, am I missing much online? I probably will never play it online anyway.

In my opinion the only way to really enjoy the game is on live. You can buy a key on the marketplace.

Me and a few friends play pretty regularly - if anyone wants to play with us PM me (or i join you!)

We race full tyre, fuel and damage sim with limited rules. We also play njce!

Are driver aids allowed? I only use TC as I just cant get on without it. Anyone who has seen my Forza driving style will understand why hehe

Yep. In my opinion the game doesxnt work properly to turn TC off.

Also, gentlemans rule that faster drivers go in slower cars (unscientific but more fun)

Recently got back in to this, mainly playing online though. I win once in a while, usually through a bit of luck.

The penalties annoy me sometimes. Being driven into should not give me a 10 second penalty....

Great game overall, I've got a sweat on with some of the close races. Some guys are just too damn quick though hehe

Try racing as someone other than Lewis Hamilton, preferably a Ferrari driver.
