Silk seems to render everything just as well as a desktop browser. Only one problem encountered so far, the page number links at the bottom of a longer thread don't seem to work. The ones at the top are fine, weirdly.

Surely worst "I can't afford an iPad" thread?
I think the ticket to the States plus the Kindle was less than a new iPad...
Seriously though - don't think you've got anything to worry about, main site looks good, forums look good, classifieds I had to allow pop-ups for the photos, but then they just go into a different tab and you can scroll through.
Oh, and it has flash, so no need to worry about that either.

I think that my main problem with Fire is the aspect ratio, particularly for digital magazines. I look after this part of our business for Haymarket as well as PH, and transferring a magazine using the same software as we do for iOS is a massive ball-ache. You've either got to live with a very small mag and black bars top and bottom, or redesign the whole page.

The only mag I subscribe to is the Spectator, who seem to have taken a digital newspaper sort of approach - it's just pages of copy with headings and navigation. Not laid out like a print magazine at all.

If "works" is defined as "appears on a B&W screen" it does. I don't bother with the browser on my kindle screen at all. Just not worth it. Bloody good for books though!
It works brilliantly for the Safari Books Online mobile site; even on the free 3G 
I haven't bought a text book from Amazon since signing up yet use the Kindle all the time...
