SHE PASSED and first drive for over a year

Well, i've been pretty much out of circulation TVR wise for over a year now. Worked away from home all last year, and just didn't have time to do much to the old thing resting on the drive.

Since starting a new local job in January, Ive been cracking on. Fitted new exhaust joints between the manifolds and hockey sticks to stop the blowing, fitted new fan switch in the stainless pipe between the swirl pot and rad, fitted refurbed calipers, new discs and pads, serviced it and fitted new rear tyres and battery.

Went for the first drive in 14 months tonight after she passed the MOT last week, and it's been FANTASTIC to get behind the wheel again. It sounds and runs better than ever mainly due to the exhaust, but it just reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place.

Just planning getting the carpets replaced professionally, then possibly a respray, and she will be as good as new.

It's a good feeling isn't it?

My first drive in the S this year was to Chatsworth on Sunday. Not the best of drives with the weather but was good to get out. Took her out for a spin today now the rain's stopped - was just fantastic. Can listen to that exhaust note all day
