Trailers - any to avoid?

Now a few other things in life are sorted out, I want to get myself a trailer for the 7 (and possibly other cars and duties).

Are there any I should avoid?

I'm limiting myself to "branded" types. Any reason to avoid

- Brian James
- PRG
- Ifor Williams
- Woodford

?

Looking used at the moment, though it seems the good ones don't hang around long.

They do get snapped up quickly. BJ and PRG have a good rep (my PRG is excellent), and are perfectly sized for a 7.

Not sure about the others, do they come in 7 sized packages ?

The "extras" on the PRG and BJ are useful, like detachable a frames for more garage space. Depends what you are after.

The others do come in 7 sized packages (and all have simar extras). Guess I just need to be patient

have towed trailers for 30years currently have an iforwilliams and a brianjames both tow very well youl need secure storage or theyl get nicked

Consider also whether you need it to fit into a standard single garage.

My PRG MiniSport does, and has given years of perfect service.

ETA: why not treat yourself to a new one.

The guys at PRG are great (I paid them a visit for an upgrade) and can build to meet your requirements.
