Apparently:
So is the offer of eternal life through Christianity a reasonable assertion or false advertising? I can see this spiralling out of control for some religions if they are held to account for their wild assertions.

To paraphrase Doug Stanhope, "If you truly believe death leads to eternal bliss, why are you wearing a seatbelt?". Without wishing to seem insensitive, if you genuinely believed in an afterlife, why would you actively want to be "cured" anyway?
On a lighter note, it's a bit like all these evangelical church minibuses you see about the place. We have a local one called something like "Chapel of Glorious Worship and the Victory of Christ", which is emblazened down the side of a Vauxhall Zafira. I've always wanted to ask them if they have fully comprehensive insurance? If everything is the will of God, then that must include your car being written off, therefore to have insurance against such an event is to deny the will of God...
