Going to buy a FF RR - need to dog proof the boot - bars to stop them from climbing over the back seats and boot liner to protect the inside with rubber mat underneath.

Anyone done this to their L322 model RR?

Thanks

The dealer will sell them. A loadspace protector was about £200, and a full height "cargo barrier" around £300, if memory serves me.

Should be an online catalogue on the net. Bizzarely, both are categorised as "interior styling"

Lined our cars with them, and flap to drop over the Bumper so they don't clip / scratch jumping in and out.

good call thanks for that

Why not get a proper dog car crate.

Might be worth having a look at http://www.boot-buddy.com/ - have used their boot liners and clear dog guard in a Range Rover Sport and X5, and really like them - the liner is a hard plastic, which fits very nicely to the boot shape, so stops hairs getting round/under it, and the clear dog guard is much better IMHO than the normal metal type, since you don't get as much drool or fluff over the rear seats / kids!

Have had the fabric type boot liners in previous cars, and found that the dogs always managed to dislodge them so that you still got dog hair all round the sides of the boot as well as in the velcro that holds the liner in shape - might just have been the ones I had (BMW OEM ones) but made me prefer a non-collapsable, rigid liner for more recent cars.

We have the full height cargo barrier.
However if you have reclining rear seats the barrier is positioned about 6" further back. This reduces the useable space considerably.

Seriously think whether you need reclining rear seats if you wish to have large dogs in the boot.

After our Springers did this:

I bought this:

From here:

Works well. Tons of room in it for them.

I find that if you let the dog drive they are less likely to misbehave.

just remember that when taking pics of black labs - you need to meter the camera for the dogs and not the surrounding areas. then the dogs would be perfectly lit and the surrounding areas will be over exposed - just one of those things with black labs...
