Replacement engine
Discussion
Tried RPI or V8 Developments? They will give you a fair price. Its always tempting to up the spec while you're at it though and this can quickly push the price up.
Edited to say if you can keep the front end and ancilliaries from an existing engine it will be a lot cheaper.

TVR Power do the Taraka (whatever) which includes a rebuild for £2500ish.
if you can get an engine from a scrap yeard then this would be an ideal way to have it rebuilt and upgraded in one go.
It would need to be a 500 though
But thats what was wanted isnt it?
