Subaru BRZ pricing announced

Subaru has announced pricing for the BRZ, matching the GT86 with a £24,995 entry price. Two models (SE and SE Lux) will be available at launch, with the cheaper S model to follow next year.

Pretty interesting. So only thing to set them apart now are the slightly different suspension set up, 5 year Toyota warranty, Subaru care package (alloy repair etc), the colours and the slightly different body.

Funny, despite the Subaru history of rallying while I was growing up if you made me choose one it would be the Toyota. Maybe its down to simple marketing, the name GT86 appeals more to my ear than BRZ.

I'm the opposite, I think a 'name' for a car is a bit cheesy. It's a machine so deseves a machine type name IMO.

I'd rather have a RS200 than a Cedric.

If it helps you can call your BRZ Perkins, or Lucy or something. I'm sure the badge is just a stick on one too.

Might have played it once or twice, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. However, if you play the game or not the name is known so you are correct as an effect.
