Two years ago I was 16 and only a few months away from turning 17 so I started doing some insurance quotes on comparison sites as I knew that insurance would be a fortune and I wanted to see what sort of car I could get.
One of the cars I was looking at was a Daihatsu Charade Gtti. I did a quote and rather bizarrely got a quote of about £950 on a comparison site which was very cheap considering all the other quotes were in excess of £5000! I then went on the companies website that this quote was from and did a quote for the exact same car to see if it was the same and got a quote of £9500. It therefore seemed that the comparison site had some how put the decimal point in the wrong place.

This ever happened to anyone else?
Would the comparison site corrected it if I tried to buy it there and then or did I really miss out on amazingly cheap insurance?

It would have taken you through to the actual insurance site and most probably the correct amount would have come up.

I wish I was nearly 19 again and this was the only st I had to wonder about!

And it's "have" not "of"
