Heres a few pics of the intercooler being made, don't ask me I just drive.

I understand the internal baffle to split air equally and the fact that its a double but in line to aid air flow but thats about it

Under Construction

To be honest the cores don't look as good as the pro-alloy ones. Even to my untrained eye.

It's all the sharp angles on the cut and welded pipes that get me.

i don't like the look of the 90 deg bend on the pro alloy one

would be good to get them flow tested back to back

what sort of money is is costing to build ? do you need to cut the box around it ?

Very Similar cost I think, probs a bit cheaper!

Box is still standard as far as I am aware, just made a blanking plate for the old holes

Hi Barry, isn't it all about airflow into the intercooler - and the fact that there isn't much? Any plans to improve this?

Juno,

Fair enough for trying something different, just be aware of what has already been done! The stepped diffuser is certainly interesting, and I could be tempted when I mod the rear elements.

Do persist on the forum; seems to have swung through the initial cold response to having a laugh and now back to being downright rude. If you've had enough I recommend the US forum - you wouldn't be the first to abandon this crowd!

Dom.
