If thats a good car, with 36k on the clock, it should be worth late twenties.

Does MB's ownership add another £5-7k? I guess thats up to the individual, but it certainly adds 'some' value to it.

Now, if you could find a pic of Martin driving it with Senna in the passenger seat, that would be VERY different!!!!

Can't quite work out what is going on with 993 prices, seem to be holding firm but very few seem to be moving. Lots of prices getting reduced.

Coupes seem more than cabs and targa's and milage does not seem to make a huge difference unless it incredibly low.

Some 2s and 4s seem to be going stratospheric and others don't sell

I have had 4 of theses over the past 10 years and want another but the whole market is just plain confusing !! Please one of the dealers explain

Putting the Brundle effect to one side, where can you get a mint 36k 993 for £25k?

Its true that between 2 identical cars, the vario would be worth a bit more, but its never that simple. And 2 cars are never identical!

Condition is far more important.

Try and buy another from a dealer with that mileage in that condition...they are few and far between....and that car appears to be sold.

Yes, I do agree, and that sort of 'market massaging' goes on a lot on here. Witness the constant talk of GT3's!!

I am a 993 owner but am not planning on selling any time soon, so believe myself to be impartial!!

I will let others judge that!

Why do you believe that though? If it has sold quickly, surely the odds are that it achieved near asking price?
