Just about to have the wheels refurbed, and it would be a shame to put the old tarnished wheelnuts back on...

Where can I get nice new 'uns?

Mmmm....I need some as well and so did several other peeps...It seems that there is a bit of a mystery going on as no-one seems to be able to confirm a set that fits..Is it because they are 12.5 x 1.5 thread?...Ziga

I recently refurbished my own wheels, 205 GTI. when I put the wheels back on the car the nuts were letting the overal look down.

So I rubbed each one down, primered (!) them and sprayed them with the silver wheel paint.

Much better.

Done much the same with silver hammerite, except you don't need primer.

You may need to touch up the edges after torquing them on.

I suppose its either refurb the old ones or tap the threads to take M12x1.5mm instead of M12.5x1.5mm?

m12.5 wheel nuts? eek

surely they are standard Ford wheel studs in the Granada front hubs, so some nice new ones from the local Ford dealer would be perfect cool

Granada, Scorpio and Mondeo all use the same style of nuts for alloy wheels wink

Hi

I have fitted new shinny nuts with TVR logo on them and locking nuts to num 1 and the wifes 280i. It was a couple of years ago but I think I have the details at home some were! I will start having a look when I get home.

Type a search on Zbay for Ford Granada wheel nuts and you should get a nice selection that's where I got my replacements along with some replacement studs too.
