Hi, I wrote my Cerbera off last night, Police attended but said as there was no-one hurt they would not be making out a report. I WAS going too fast and I lost control, I COULD have hurt somebody...why did they not even give me a producer to make sure she was MOT'd and I had a licence etc?

Bad luck on smashing the car up mate. Glad to hear you're OK.

It's refreshing to hear somebody can admit fault for their accidents. I always do. Most people seem to try to blame anybody but themselves.

If you can't admit fault to yourself then how else will you learn?

Of course, as far as the insurance company are concerned .........

General rule of thumb is that if no=one is injured and there is no road furnature damage then there is no problem.

Sure you COULD have hurt someone but if the COULD police went out every time something nearly happened then we would never have anyone patrolling the beat!

oh hang on a minute.... we don't anyway!

Well I'm very sorry to hear about this BB. Around here I like the idea of people enjoying themselves with their cars and no harm being done.

Glad no one was hurt, but even so it's a nice car badly damaged and an upsetting event all the same.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

23The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green [1] pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest [2] my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. I learnt yesterday that the Z750 is a cracking good fun bike. I had one as a loaner while my RSV was being serviced.

Yep. I live in Dunstable.

Have you still got the ZX6R? (ISTR seeing it on your profile in the past).

My sister had one - 2001 model - took it to LeMans last year and showed my mate what real progress was.

Didn't go over about 100/110* but lost count of the number of sports cars we overtook.

He's since learnt to ride and bought himself a bike!!

* Obviously I must be talking about kph!!
