Nice R129

I spotted this about three weeks ago. It looks perfect to my eyes. Great colours, bornite over brazil. I have no interest or connection but frequently people pop up here looking for a good R129. Well, this looks like it.

It does look rather smart: so much more interesting than silver ones...

I wonder how it will get through the MOT with the km/h speedo. I think you have to have mph markings. If the radio is the original Japanese one, it won't work in this country as the FM frequency band won't work.

Not show stoppers by any means, just things to be aware of.

Bornite on a R129 looks amazing. I saw one on a forecourt years ago when buying an estate and was very tempted by it. Should have given in to temptation, I think!

Mot with speedo in KM/H not an issue ; I remember researching it when I had a LHD 924 Carrera .
