My Fiesta blows hot all the time, I've replaced the heater control valve and the control panel and still no Joy frown
My local mechanic is scratching he's head, but noticed only half the radiator is warm ?
Any advice would be grateful,Cheers : )

What year?

The Mondeo used to have a problem with the rotary control where instead of the inner cable sliding and controlling the footwell lever, the wire just bent. Taking it apart, straightening the cable and lubing it usually provided a cure with gentle use. Check the lever in the footwell box moves when you turn the temp control.

Thanks LuS1fer, its a 2002 model. Its just puzling what the hell is happening. Temperature gauge reads normal. As i previously said both the temperature control valve and console have been replaced ??? Puzzling. The car is like a sauna ....

If the car is remaining hot then the heater valve is not working have you got voltage at the valve ? If so does it switch when the controls moved ? If so the valves had it if not then its a wiring issue between the valve & control panel assuming the one you replaced is ok

As mentioned before I'd be checking for voltage or resistance changes at the plug on the valve as the control inside the car is moved.

Just because you've replaced the valve doesn't mean its OK. There are some real poor quality valves about for these cars. I know as I've had trouble with them before, fitting new ones that turned out to be faulty.
