Anyone going to this weather permitting. http://www.classicshows.org/thoresby070512.php Thinking of going along myself to give the car a good run out before the Euro trip.
I had planned to go to chatsworth for a decent run out but i couldnt find my life jacket.
Just for Tinks there is a seperate mini show on the same day.

Sounds like we'll have a good turnout clap

If anyone's not been before, take note of the arrival time for display cars and be warned there can be queues. I've had to wait 30-40 minutes in the past.

Too late to prebook to the show but when i enquired via email, the reply was no problem turn up on the day and pay the admission price and you can still display your vehicle. No mention of any particular arrival time.
I assumed it was similar to the gawsworth hall car show in that there is a car park for "joe public" but if you turn up in anything interesting you are directed to the display area.

Yes, that's what it's been i the past. Book or not, the queue is the same. The differnce is parking in the 'public' area or in the 'display' area.

I'm sure we have been told in the past to get there by a certain time or we may not get into the display area. I could be wrong thoughsmile
