when driving around at low speeds, with very slight constant throttle, it will act like ive taken my foot off the pedal, so i have to push it down slightly more to bring the revs back up, then it jerks forward, quite violently, and accelerates.

Would really appreciate any ideas

It may be worth looking at the TPS to make sure it is set correctly.

great thanks, hopefully this solves it. Just the overboosting issue to fix now lol. This car only seems to be happy when u are absolutely nailing it!

Check for vacuum leaks as well. It doesn't matter which turbo car you have, a vacuum leak will make it run lean and in turn rough at low engine loads.

Equally you could be looking at MAF or Lambda sensor issues which will make it run rough and jerky at low engine loads.

You don't always get check engine light come on when a sensor has gone down or something happens so check all possibilities.
