I predict it'll pass. With an advisory for ... exhaust hanger.

Somewhere (hopefully an advisory) the handbrake will be mentioned.

Passed woohoo

2 advisories, I thought it was getting tail happy. hehe

And just for fun, this is what happens to a Renault cam belt when the water pump let's go!

Mines due on Tuesday. Hopefully it'll pass with no issues

I failed yesterday, fortunately it's just a fractured rear spring. Breakers part in the boot now and booked in to local mechanic next week. No other advisories at all, remarkable for an 18 year old car.

Mine passed with no advisories a couple of weeks ago. 19 years old. The best thing is so many people told me it was too old to handle the 15k miles ive done this year. One word: smug!

Passed but with some advisories:

1. OSF chassis under wheel arch slight corrosion
2. NSF chassis rail under wheel arch slight corrosion
3. Vehicle underside / suspension rusty

The garage said they could wire brush and waxoyl the underside for £100. Is this worth having them do?

Oh and it seems I've only driven 935 miles in it since the last MOT! Must get out more...

For £100, I'd say that's a good price. Mucky, nasty job!

Worth doing, but there are better products than waxoyl. Dinatrol for example. See the rustproofing your roadster thread at the top of the forum.
