They're not what you'd call spicy though, just like horseradish or mustard, their purpose is to make it feel like you've squirted a small blast of napalm into your nostril.

Love them, a lad I work with gets these parcels of random pots of snack foods in the post after he signed up with this company (whose name escapes me right now), and he always gets pots of wasabi peas, and he hates them. I take them off his hand, free of charge of course. Better than going in the bin, I won't turn them down!

At risk of sounding like a record with a scratch...one of my customers flogs these to the supermarkets and consequently I've had the dubious privilege of watching them being made.

Pretty unhygenic factory, pretty unhygenic worker wombles. Insect & rodent problems, that kind of thing. Can only speak for the one I've seen obviously, but not very nice to my eyes. Bit of a turn off for fried snacks full stop tbh.
