Oil level - G50/52

I am checking all over my Ultima, as i will follow the Millemiglia the next 17/18th of May.

I was wondering how i can measure the oil level on my Porsche G50/52 gbx, and how to change the oil

Remember, we use these gearboxes upside down compared with the Porsche fitment.

To drain the oil you need to turn the car upside down as the drain plug is on what is now the top.





Your oil cooler is plumbed into what we now use as the drain plug and there is a fitting on the side towards the l/h rear of the box to fill. You need to check the amount you need as it is not a case of filling until it runs out of the fill hole which would see it over full.

And remember to allow enough to fill your cooler too.

my G50/52 has a drain hole on the bottom in my car.(its the old top filler)

oil level is drain and refill to a set amount , there is not sight or measuring its only quanity when filling.. If it doesnt leak, then the level will be ok..

I replaced my oil last year.
