Hi
I am going to replace the front pads and overall the brakes on my '86 350i.
Which are the best front pads to improve braking, for the standard calipers ( normal road use ) and are the calipers Granada, if so what year as I want to track down a seal kit?
Many thanks

Yep standard was Granada both disk and caliper. You can go down the rebuild route but personally i would go for new disks £25 ish and rebuilt calipers which you should get for about £50-60 per side from ur friendly local motor factors. There is a lot of debate on pads but for general use I would recommend the Ferrodo version. Make sure you take an old disk with you as there are various types.

Ferodo DS pads are awesome yeah, last a bit longer too in my experience. Greenstuff is ok too and cheap as chips.
